I bought a HP 490 G3 I7-6700 computer. Now I want to install the OS, but I got a Fault ID from the memory when testing.

Thanks for your response. This morning I did all the test again. Second reason was a brand new memory module.
This time I got a new Fault ID on all banks: GK0KH9-8JAA91-X87T6K-40EG03
The brand new module is Corsair Valueselect CMV8GX4M1A2133C15. This module gave the same Fault ID. I do not believe it is the memory anymore. I think something else is messing the memorytest. I can not imagine 4 faulty memory module of which 1 is brand new.
I am about to give up.
Sincerely,
Peter Scholtes
