Product: Pavilion 500-420qe
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Can someone tell me whether this motherboard has SATA-II or SATA-III ports ? The hard drive is nearing its end and I want to know what the capabilities of the motherboard are before deciding to invest in a hard drive or a ssd to replace the current hard drive or if it's time to get a new pc.

Hi:

 

If this is the motherboard your PC has, for sure the boot drive port is SATA III (6.0 GB/S).
