My Aloe-GL8E motherboard has 6 SATA sockets of various colors - Black, white, blue, yellow, red . What do the colors mean on this board, since I think they are all 3 GB/s? I want to add a second HDD - does it matter which socket it goes in?

The sockets are numbered 1 thru 6.  The boot order will follow these in succession.

I did find a reference.  Can you verify the color and number?

Dark blue - Disk 1

White - Disk 2

Light blue - Disk 3

Yellow - Disk 4

Red - Disk 5

Black - Disk 6

Thanks! Your information make sense - I am not able to verify otherwise. My HDD is connected to the dark blue port, the White one is empty, a DVD drive is in Lt Blue and a BluRay drive is in yellow. Seems I should put my second HDD into white.
