what motherboard does the HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop - TG01-0170m use

This is a fairly new computer and there is not a lot of information available. The Configure To Order (CTO) models can be configured by you, the buyer. However, I did find a thread on the Forums that stated it is an Erica with AMD B550A chipset: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06429270

Found HP Part Surfer is just full of data on that model. It has the HP proprietary designed 310W and 400W PSU. An interesting part is a SATA cable Wish I had a 8-10 pictures of the insides that would include a full view.

Then search the line with the SSID of the motherboard

according to the driver page of the indicated computer there are two versions of bios available

HP Consumer Desktop PC BIOS Update (ROM Family SSID 8643)

HP Consumer Desktop PC BIOS Update (ROM Family SSID 8653)

you have either:

motherboard specifications, Erica

HP name: Erica
SSID: 8643

or

motherboard specifications, Erica2

the other it' s intel

motherboard specifications, Rother

HP name: Rother
SSID: 8653

The motherboard has not been documented by HP. That handicaps our response. Do you have a question on the board that could be answered? What do I know of the board(s):

1) M.2 SSD socket is only a PCIex2 port on an Erica board. The Erica2 board has a PCIex4.

2) HP utilizes a proprietary PSU design, and the max is 500W. That means no off the shelf PSU will work.

3) Only two 3.5" hard drive bays. A 2.5" adapter tray can be used with only 1 of the bays.

4) Motherboard supplies power for DVD and HD uses. Separate cables ? (I need pictures).
