Hi @karthik_175,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I'm sorry to hear about the trouble you're having with your HP M120 wireless mouse. Here are some steps you can follow to address the issue with the mouse.
Troubleshooting the Mouse Issue
- Check the Batteries: Ensure the batteries are fresh and properly installed. Sometimes, weak batteries can cause erratic behavior.
- Reconnect the Mouse:
- Turn off the mouse and then turn it back on.
- If there's a USB receiver, unplug it and then plug it back in.
- Try using the mouse on a different surface or with a mouse pad.
- Update or Reinstall Drivers:
- Go to Device Manager on your computer.
- Find the mouse under "Mice and other pointing devices."
- Right-click and choose "Update driver." Alternatively, you can uninstall the driver and then restart your computer to let it reinstall.
- Check for Interference: Ensure there are no other wireless devices nearby that might be interfering with the mouse's signal.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
