Your HP ENVY 700-215xt Desktop PC (F9A62AV) as fitted with the Memphis-B motherboard (SSID: 2AF7) is highly upgradeable, as this motherboard is 24-pin ATX power enabled, meaning, you can upgrade your power supply with any industry standard ATX power supply, depending what graphics card you choose, as long as you watch its dimensions (LxWxH) for fit inside your case.

According to: https://support.hp.com/id-en/document/c04094823, your PC was/is fitted with a 300-watt power supply with HP p/n: 667893-002 or 667893-003.  This limits your GPU choices.  You could upgrade your PC with pretty much any graphics card your budget allows, as seen here for HP System 700-215xt Users: https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/53089797.

Anyways, to answer your question, I would upgrade the power supply to 500-watt and consider an RTX 2060 which will allow you to play games smoothly in 1080P without breaking the bank. Again, watch GPU size for fit inside your case (choose a smaller 2-fan model rather than a 3-fan model).

I would suggest looking in eBay for an affordable card, such as this RTX 2060 purchase option for $155: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 6GB GDDR6 Gaming Graphics Card Dell DHRKF 0DHRKF DHRKF 643934068298 | eBay.

Last but not least, you could upgrade your desktop with the legendary "Devil's Canyon" i7-4790K processor, or at least the i7-4790.

Hope this was helpful.

Kind Regards,

@poper70,

And in case you want to keep your 300-watt power supply, a GTX 1650 4GB graphics card -selling, incidentally, also for $155 via Amazon: Amazon.com: MSI Gaming GeForce GTX 1650 128-Bit HDMI/DP/DVI 4GB GDRR6 HDCP Support DirectX 12 VR Rea..., would also be a major gaming graphics improvement: UserBenchmark: Nvidia GeForce GTX 645 vs 1650.
