Do you remember if the connector went straight into the back of the PC or at a right angle?
I don't know that it makes that great of a difference, but the parts list indicates that your PC came with one or the other.
A/C Adapter - GNRC, 65W SmtnPFC N-Slim Rt. Barbera
AC Adapter - GNRC, 65W, Smart nPFC Straight Barrel
What I suggest you do is to go on eBay, search by either part number and find a used but tested and working genuine HP power adapter. Those normally also come with the power cord that goes from the wall socket to the adapter.
When you buy new from HP (assuming either adapter is available), you have to buy the power cord separately.
Power cord (Black) - 3-wire conductor, 1.0m (3.2ft) long - Has straight (F) C5 connector (North America)
