ok i just bought this computer (HP Slim Desktop SO1-PF2033W ) ( serial number [personal info removed]) ( product number 7Z6X4AA#ABA ) on 09/12/2024 and today i get a popup that says my warranty expired on 08/18/2024 so i check my hp support assistant dashboard it says the same thing . how come my warranty expired a month before i even bought this computer?

Well, your HP Slim Desktop S01-PF2033W was first released in late 2020, meaning, this 4-year-old desktop is not a brand-new PC fresh off the shelf, so to speak.  In order to provide context, from whom did you purchase it?

bought from walmart  new a week ago .. i was able to get ahold of  corporate and they have talked to me now they are looking in to it

Yea, if your expectation was getting at least a one-year warranty, I hope that Walmart will honor that in some way, or agrees to have you return the PC and get your money back.
