pcie gpu in Prodesk 600 G5 mt

Hi,

i´v got 4 prodesk 600 g5 mt from my company.

now i tryed to upgrade the pc´s with a pcie grafikcard. 

i used cards without seperat psu cable but in all 4 pc´s i only get the beep-messages for nonworking GPU

i testet all gpus in an othher system , and they work fine.

anybody som suggestions wy they dont work in hp ?

excuse my bad english , i´m from germany.

Hi:

What model graphics card are you trying to install?

If it is too old, you may have to disable the secure boot setting in the BIOS in order for the card to work.

that was the trick !!

i tryed some old radeon hd 5000 series and nvidia gt730 gpu´s

i use them often to test systems without igp. i never had to deactivate the securboot on modern boards as socket 1200 or socket 1700. they always workt "out of the box"

thanks again. now they work as they should !!
