HP Pav HPE h8-1360t
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

1.) Need to upgrade memory from current 10GB to 16GB (max).  Is this possible?  2.)  My processor is 3.4GH Intel Core i7-3770, "64 bit ready".  Does this mean my processor speed is 32 bit but capable of handling 64 bit?  If so, is it possible to upgrade my processor to 64 bit?  Thanks.

@fjsinc,

Your safe answer is 16GB max.  If it were mine, I would use 4 (4GB) modules.

I also took note of the glaring discrepancy on the same page.

Although Crucial states it is 32GB system, their page does not reference above 2 (8GB).

@fjsinc

If your existing OS is 64 bit, then your operating at 64 bit.  It would also run 32 bit software.

Here is the specification page, it could handle 4 (8GB modules) with 64 bit OS.

Your processor already is already 64 bit.

The spec page indicates the max memory for my computer is 16gb, however your reply states the max memory to be 4x8gb (32gb).  So what is the max memory allowed?
