Hello,
i want to install a graphics card in my F1025ng PC. However, it currently only has the power supply L70042-001, which only provides 180 watts. That is definitely too less for a RX 6600 (i'm suprised it actually works without). So naturally i decided to upgrade it too. The problem is that the psu and psu case slot are not bound to any standards. Is there a HP psu that i could use instead? I browsed around here and there seems to be some sort of chart where this is listed, but i cannot find my pc in it. The psu should have an 8 pin (6+2 works also i believe) and 400-550 watts.
Thank you!

Hi
thank you very much. Now i looked at the price and it is unreasonably high, so i thought if i could just use a random actual quality power supply and put it in the case in some other way, but now you mentioned the motherboard has something to do with it. Can i not use a normal atx psu and connect it to the motherboard? It seems to be possible with 20+4 pin and only use the 4 pin...
otherwise i will need to throw 160 bucks in the trash i think

It might be possible, but having a box outside the computer
Which I wouldn't recommend too much..
I know that's the problem with this type of power supply try to search in different sites if not cheaper

Thanks again
the only thing i was worried about was that you said it would not fit with the mainboard.
But if it does that, you can leave the rest to me :). If needed, i can also drill my own holes in the case, warranty is already gone and it seems to be quite solid
