I am thinking of upgrading my psu from 180W, as I plan to install RX550 gpu, which cause total power consumption to be 181W, hence I want to upgrade it to 300W. my question is can I use any PSU Corsair etc or specific HP psu, as I am unable to find any HP psu can i get from their offline stores? Its a slim pc so my options are gt 1030 ddr5 and Rx550 LP

You will probably be able to get by with the existing PSU and the RX550 as that benchmarking site link in the above discussion has reports of PC's running with the RX550 installed.

I had some concerns as I used a pc wattage website to calculate, i use the standard HDD with my pc along with a ssd NVME, to total wattage, including the gpu was above 180W, is it risky to install that card? or would my pc be fine? THANKS!!

You're very welcome.

Based on the reports of other PCs with that power supply, I believe the RX550 should work fine.

However, if you have any doubts, you could install a good performing but less powerful Nvidia GT1030 GDDR5 low profile card, which only has a 30W power draw.
