HP ProDesk 400 G7 Microtower PC (9CY18AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

Hello

I would like your advice on upgrading my 180 W PSU on a HP ProDesk 400 G7 MT in order to be able to fit a decent graphics card. My device is  HP ProDesk 400 G7 Microtower PC (9CY18AV) Product11M79EA#AB7

Thank you

@XrMaris,

Welcome to our HP User Forum!

As you probably know, there is not a whole lot you can do graphics-card-wise with a mere 180 watt.  However, your HP ProDesk 400 G7 Microtower PC (9CY18AV) according to: https://support.hp.com/id-en/document/c06918483#AbT11, has a 350-watt power supply option:

I wasn't able to find this 350-watt part number or where you can purchase it -perhaps HP Tech Support can help you out here, but a 350-watt power supply would enable you to install/power a very decent graphics card such as the GTX 1650 Low Profile 4GB.

Kind Regards,
