Hi:
According to the memory upgrade info for your PC's motherboard, it has two memory slots and can support up to 2 x 8 GB of memory.
HP Desktop PCs - Motherboard Specifications, MonkD | HP® Customer Support
If you want to install more memory than adding an 8 GB chip in the empty slot, you can do this to see how much memory your notebook can support:
1. In the search box, search for cmd and click Run as administrator.
This will open the command prompt.
2. Once command prompt is opened, type wmic memphysical get maxcapacityEx and hit enter.
There, it will show the maximum RAM capacity your PC's motherboard can support.
The capacity is shown as Kilobytes, so you have to convert it to Gigabytes by dividing the number provided in the report by 1,048,576.
Crucial indicates that these memory chips would be compatible with your PC:
16 GB:
Crucial 16GB DDR4-3200 SODIMM | CT16G4SFRA32A | Crucial.com
8 GB:
Crucial 8GB DDR4-3200 SODIMM | CT8G4SFRA32A | Crucial.com
The DDR4-3200 memory costs less money than the DDR4-2400 memory but will run fine and automatically bridge to 2400 MHz.

You're very welcome.
Unfortunately, I wouldn't be able to help you with that, because when I run the command, I get exactly what the report is supposed to report.
The crucial memory report indicates that your PC can support up to 64 GB of memory.

I doubt you would ever need that much memory.
