@AlexBolmhagen,

Your HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop PC TG01-0000a (6GY67AV) is either fitted with a Rother motherboard (SSID: 8653), which allows RAM speed up to 2666 MHz, or an Erica motherboard (SSID: 8643), which allows RAM speed up to 3200 MHz -please verify what you got.

Secondly, please verify if this is the Kingston Fury Beast 2x16GB RAM kit you had in mind: https://www.kingston.com/dataSheets/KF432C16BBK2_32.pdf.

Please note that this particular RAM has a default (SPD) speed set at 2400 MHz:

Only if your desktop has (full) XMP access, this RAM is likely to get stuck at 2400 MHz, rather than running at 2666 MHz for a Rother motherboard, or 3200 MHz if you got an Erica motherboard.

Looking at "HP System Pavilion Gaming Desktop TG01-0xxx" User benchmarks here: https://www.userbenchmark.com/System/HP-Pavilion-Gaming-Desktop-TG01-0xxx/160592, let me show you what that could mean:

As you can see, the aforementioned RAM got stuck at its default RAM speed, in these cases 2133 MHz.

I looked around the UserBenchMark link to see if I could locate the Kingston Fury RAM, but I ran out of time.  Point is, the RAM you want to purchase could perform just fine -and at the highest allowable RAM speed on your desktop, but I am not sure.

Anyway, if you got an Erica motherboard (SSID: 8643), the following RAM will run at 3200 MHz and has outstanding performance:

Crucial Pro CP16G4DFRA32A.C8FF 2x16GB
Patriot PSD416G320081 2x16GB
Samsung M378A2G43AB3-CWE 2x16GB
Crucial CT16G4DFS832A.M8FB 2x16GB
Crucial CT16G4DFRA32A.C8FF 2x16GB
Crucial Ballistix BL16G32C16U4RL.16FE 2x16GB

Ditto if you got a Rother motherboard (SSID: 8653) running at 2666 MHz:

Samsung M378A2K43CB1-CTD 2x16GB
Samsung M378A2K43DB1-CTD 2x16GB
Micron 16ATF2G64AZ-2G6E1 2x16GB
Crucial CT16G4DFD8266.C16FD1 2x16GB

If anything, you can interpret my response as a word of caution.

Hope this was helpful.

Kind Regards,
