Greetings!
When trying to download the Realtek Audio driver update (2021) from HP, received message "this software package is not designed for current machine. Pls download SP102277 from HP.com)
Our issue is Audio static noise on speakers and headset. All Windows & HP audio diagnostics pass OK.
Disabled 'sound effects', set to '24 bit and 44100 Hz' (higher Hz has more static), Power set to 'Hi Performance'
Present driver is Realtek 6.0.89241.1 (2020-03-26) However Event Info shows message:
"Device HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0236&SUBSYS_103C8430&REV_1000\4&29e19316&0&0001 requires further installation."
Just want to verify this is the correct audio driver and possible fix for static, cutting out issues.
Much Appreciated!

Hi:
Is this the driver you tried to install?
Driver - HP All-in-One - 22-c0049 | HP® Customer Support
sp102277 is actually the latest version of the driver (6.0.8924.1)
Driver - HP All-in-One - 22-c0049 | HP® Customer Support
The reason you probably got that error is because you are running a newer version of W10 than what that driver was written to support at the time.
The only suggestion I can offer if you want to try the older driver would be to see if this works...bypass the OS version check by manually installing the driver.
To do that, go to the device manager.
Click to expand the sound, video and game controllers device manager category.
Click on the Realtek HD audio device listed there.
Click on the driver tab. Click on Update driver.
Select the 'Browse my computer for drivers' option and browse to the driver folder that was created when you ran the file.
That folder will be located in C:\SWSetup\sp112275
Make sure that the Include subfolders box is checked and see if the driver installs that way.
Then restart the PC.

Hello Paul,
Really appreciate your helpful suggestion, links and steps. Windows would not allow me to install it from the Browse my Computer, but I was able to download the driver and install it from the Dowlnload folder.
Thanks so much!
