Hi! HP
Recently I bought slimline desktop 260-p026.
I want to add SSD.
But there are several types of SSD.
After googled I find two sloution.
Remove HDD and replace with SSD or ADD pcie ssd card(for example Plextor M8Pe 256GB HHHL PCIe NVMe Internal Solid State Drive with Heatsink) to Expansion Slots (PCI-E (GEN 3) x16 socket).
I want to know what type of choice is best to my desktop.
Thanks

There are many different options for the whole series on the following list:
https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-slimline-260-p000-desktop-pc-series/10734583/product-info
Which one did you buy ? I have a quick look at few of them. They don't have slot for SSD, only slots for video and eireless card:
- One PCI-E (GEN 3) x16 socket
- One M.2 socket 1, key A
- Expansion Slots:
The Plextor M8Pe 256GB HHHL PCIe NVMe Internal Solid State Drive with Heatsink you are looking for won't fit to the that slot physically.
Regards.
