i recently installed the samsung 870 evo sata 2.5 500gb ssd into my pc and when i go in disk management nothing shows up. No unallocated disk shows up, only the disk I am currently using. for reference, my motherboard is the hp 886B 00. any help on how to properly install my new ssd. I am installing it in the place where the hard drives go, and with the sata cables.

Your Omen Oasis motherboard supports the PCIe NVMe Gen 3.0 x4 SSD, not SATA.

You can try using Diskpart to create a GPT volume, format it and give it a drive letter. It might be recognized then.
It may be recognized in Diskpart. See method 3 on the EaseUS web page at the hyperlink below.

I can't guarantee that the SATA type will work.
Since you have already purchased and installed it, it is worth trying.
