i have an old HP Envy 700-130 that came with an i5 processor. i have since took that processor out and installed it in another system, leaving this pc without a processor. i was thinking of getting a cheap processor and using this pc just to web browse. what cpu downgrades does this pc/motherboard support? i am looking at cheap pentium haswell processors as well as celeron haswell processors and just looking to see if these processors are supported by this motherboard before i buy. thank you.

Hi,
The processor upgrade specifications for your HP ENVY 700-130 are listed here.
You might try eBay and see what is available.

The listed processors on that page are the only CPU chips tested for that board.
Regardless of the semantics used (ie upgrades) by @Big_Dave, that is the list.
