I recently installed Roxio Creator and now when I put a disc in my rom drive it is not being seen. If I plug in a thumb drive it is recognized.

A CD-ROM drive and USB stick are very different devices and have almost nothing in common.  So the second working has nothing whatsoever to do with the first.

 

Are you able to play existing CDs or DVDs in the CD/DVD drive?

 

Are you able to see that drive in File Explorer?
