How do I upgrade my software? Hard drive?

The CPU cannot be upgraded

Supports the Intel Pentium J4205 (Apollo Lake) Quad Core processor only. The processor is not upgradeable.

Memory can be increased by adding more or replacing with 8GB modules.

 

  • Dual channel memory architecture
  • Two DDR3L SODIMM (204-pin) sockets
  • Supports PC3L-12800 (DDR3L-1600)
  • Supports 4 GB and 8 GB DDR3L SODIMMs

 

Hard drive is 1TB SATA.  It could be replaced with a SATA style  SSD to increase speed.

This PC does not present itself as an easy candidate to greatly improve performance, as the items referenced above can only improve performance modestly compared to CPU and graphics upgrades which you cannot do.
