workstation z820
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

since I replaced the graphics card (new card: Nvidia Quadro 5000), the power button remains red (instead of blue),

the computer still running without any other issues,

workstation questions have a better chance of getting answered in the workstation forum

power off, disconect the power cord then press the pwr on button for 7 sec and release

 

now remove the side cover, and remove the small round silver CMOS battery for 10 sec then replace

 

close cover power on, enter bios, set date/time and if not booting from network or SAS controller, disable boot rom for those two devices to speed up boot times

 

note: disable the boot rom for the LSI controller, do not disable the LSI controller these are two diffrent options, one just turns off the boot feature, the other disables (removes) the controller from available devices list
