OMEN 30L Desktop PC GT13-1000a (207P7AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

so I've been having an issue with my pc crashing randomly for more or less than a year now. I have done extensive testing to find a fix. my drivers are up to date, bios is fine, even went to the point where I reset my pc by reinstalling Windows. I've noticed random little things that can help influence a crash. a browser has been opened since startup and a game is playing, a game is playing, the pc was sitting on the desktop since start up, sometimes a specific game can crash the pc multiple times in a row but after a few days or so it'll be fine.
there has only been one thing I've done that influenced the crash to not happen. even if for a few days. I've been tinkering with thermal paste. the first time I swapped it, I went from corner to corner as my friend instructed. that was a fun little mess after finding that didn't work. then I grabbed another type of paste that was slightly more expensive but the same brand. I was about to follow a vid tutorial when I noticed it had a stencil to use. it was many small triangles in a pattern. though the stencil was very thin it was hard to apply the paste. once I felt finished I tried that and noticed my cpu getting abnormally hot. I opened it up and felt it wasn't enough(too thin). so I followed the vid guide, it was to put a small dot the size of a capacitor. this worked for 4 to 5 days without crashing. then it crashed as I was opening a VR game that worked perfectly fine before.

I don't even know what to do other than get a new pc or pay for someone to look into the issue physically.

I suggest that you take your PC to a shop let them give it a thorough inspection.
