I have hp pavilion tgo1-1811no i was wondering if i could upgrade to a third party psu since hp original psu cost way more

HP PSU usually have very different connectors, but if you get one that looks the same, you can use it.

I don't know which model of PC you have, but it is recommended that you buy an HP PSU.
