Microsoft Windows 11

I am curious if anyone has been able to find out why the touch screen on a desktop suddenly does not work.

I checked the device manager, but the HID is hidden. When I check the HID for the Touch Screen, it has a code 45. What does that mean?

How can this be remedied? I tried to reach out to HP tech support lost money in the process and they ultimately could not fix it. They said most people don't use it. I do and want to continue using it. It is so frustrating no one can give you a straight answer.
