i looked in the guides that i have..but is it ok to lay the tower down sideways..vents on top..just wondering because of the dvd placement and saving room...thank you

Hi:

 

You should be fine with that.  The DVD will be easier to place in the tray with the PC on its side.

May be a silly question, but would the same apply for an Omen series? (Don’t know the model number offhand)
