Title: HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop TG01-2xxx: Warzone Failed Attestation Status, BIOS Firmware Update Required

Hello,

I'm having an issue with Call of Duty: Warzone on my HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop TG01-2xxx, and I'm looking for help finding a solution.

When I launch Warzone, I receive a Failed Attestation Status error that restricts me to Battle Royale Casual.

I've checked my security settings and confirmed the following:

  • PC Model: HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop TG01-2xxx

  • Product Number: 328Q5AA#ABA

  • Motherboard: HP 8906

  • Processor: AMD Ryzen 3 5300G

  • BIOS Version: AMI F.40, dated April 8, 2026

  • BIOS Mode: UEFI

  • Secure Boot: On

  • TPM Status: Ready for use

  • TPM Manufacturer Version: 3.94.0.5

  • Operating System: Windows 11 Home

I also ran Activision's Secure Attestation Wizard, and it still reports BIOS Firmware Update Required.

My BIOS is already on version F.40, and I haven't found a newer compatible update for my PC.

Is there a newer BIOS or AMD TPM firmware update available for this specific HP model that could resolve this issue? If not, is HP aware of this compatibility problem, and is there a recommended workaround?

I'd appreciate any help or advice. I'd prefer to resolve this myself without paying for professional repair services.

Thank you!

Hi:

Unfortunately, according to this document from HP, they will not be releasing a BIOS update for the PC model series listed in that document to fix the AMD fTPM firmware attestation issue, which includes the HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop PC TG01-2xxxa model series.
