@cdavis28,

Welcome to our HP User Forum!

Unfortunately, no.  Corsair, G.SKILL, and some other gaming RAM tends to get stuck on OMEN 30L Desktop - GT13-0024 (9EE29AA) PCs, as fitted with a Moria3 motherboard (SSID: 86D3) -please verify (or a Dorado OC motherboard (SSID: 8703), etc.), at their default or "SPD" speed.  Since you don't have access to XMP, you can't change that.

Btw, the fastest any RAM can or will ever run on an HP OMEN 30L Desktop - GT13-0xxx is 3200 MHz.

Here are some examples of "HP System OMEN 30L Desktop GT13-0xxx" rigs who encountered this hapless issue:

Hope this was helpful.

thank you for replying i have figured that out still find it stupid that the xmp is locked and there is no way to fix it but i have found my applications i use work better with more ram than speed so i guess its fine

@cdavis28,

You are welcome -I agree that more RAM is generally better than speed.

And yes, I too wished for XMP access.

Kind Regards,
