Sorry but there is a MSATA slot and a MiniCard slot.

No M.2 slot.

That model uses the Kaili2 motherboard, support page

I do not see any mention of a M2 slot, so that means the SSD will need to use SATA.  If you wish the SSD to replace the main hard drive, it should be installed on the SATA port that the present hard drive is using.  Also assuming the present hard drive is still working and the Windows install is to your liking, you can clone the present hard drive to the SSD and then connect the SSD to the correct SATA port.

Some users are reporting problems in getting the system to recognize the new SSD but you can report back with any problems/concerns after making the SSD install.

When you remove the old HDD remove the 4 screws that are used to slide the drive into the HDD slot.

You will be able to use the same Power and Data cables.

Thank you very much for the information

I should have been a liile more desceiptive about where to connect

the research I have done indicates that a NVMe PCIe would be the best type connection for a nes SSD and I am not that familar with the mother board and therfore was not sure if my computer had that expansion port and if so what additional would I need to make the connection if anything

Thanks
