OMEN 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-b0000 (2W6B3AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

When trying to perform the latest update it gives me an error and I receive this message.

2022-07 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5015818)

Error - installation 0x800f081f

I have tried all the options that I found on the net, sfc scannow, performing several checks as administrator, installing net frameroc 3.5, etc. but I still have the same problem, today a C++ update has been installed without problem.

The HP app tells me there is no problem with Windows.

The operating system was also reinstalled.

Thank you

That is an error from Microsoft  (not HP) which is documented on.:

           https://windowsreport.com/windows-11-update-error-0x800f081f/

Please use the above guide to fix.

Regards.

Hello, sorry for the delay but I've been on vacation.
I tell you what I have done.
• I scan with the RESTORO application and that it solves the detected problems, I have passed it several times until everything was OK
• Troubleshooting for Windows Update, it detects an error and tells me to correct it, but it doesn't, since every time I run it it gives the same error.
• I try to run “ gpedit.msc” and I can't as it gives me this message “This operation has been canceled due to restrictions specified for this computer. Contact your system administrator.
• As an alternative I have installed Policyplus, I have modified the system file but it does not fix the changes.
• I have done all other steps like admin SFC/scannow, chkdsk, DISM.
• I have tried to download manually from the Microsoft Update catalog but when I put the KB5015818 it tells me that it does not find results for this search.
• When I start Net Stop bits, it tells me The Background Intelligent Transfer Service (BITS) service has not started.
• You can get more help with the NET HELPMSG 3521 command.
• If I run it, it tells me that *** has not been started.
• Net Stop wuauserv tells me the service has not started-
• Net Stop appidsvc tells me the identity service has not started-
• Net Stop cryptsvc the service is stopping
• Ren %systemroot%SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.bak: The name cannot be changed because the element
located at '%systemroot%SoftwareDistribution' does not exist.
• Ren %systemroot%system32catroot2 catroot2.bak: Ren : Cannot rename because item at %systemroot%system32catroot2' does not exist.
• Net Start bits: Started successfully.
• Net Start wuauserv The requested service has already been started.
• PS C:\Users\javie> Net Start appidsvc. The Application Identity service is starting. The Application Identity service has started successfully.
• PS C:\Users\javie> Net Start cryptsvc The requested service has already been started. You can get more help with the NET HELPMSG 2182 command.
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate: I do NOT have the entries that it says to delete.

I have tried it and everything is not the same, as the error gives me in this update, could it be due to the update (KB5015818)? ,
