HP ENVY TE01-1134
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello everyone, I recently got an HP ENVY TE01-1134, it has the Baker MoBo and a 180w power supply. I wanted to upgrade the power supply so I can use a graphics card but I didn't know it uses proprietary connectors (4 pin power connector) so I was reading that there's no other solution but to buy the 500w power supply from the HP part store. I found this video ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7bBeAE0WnsQ )  were the guy breaks the 8 pin CPU connector in to a 4 pin so he can connect his CPU, so I wanted to know if I can use one end to power the MoBo and the other one to power the CPU.

@RamT

I reviewed your post and I understand that you want to upgrade the power supply on your computer.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

You can go ahead and give it a shot. I am positive that you will find many power supplies online with the 4 pin CPU connectors you just need to do a little research.

I hope that answers your question and you have a great day!
