HELLO! in my pc i have 2 * 2GB DDR3 RAM in slots 1 and 3.
And i have ( from a really old pc i used to have) another 2GB RAM which isn't used anymore and on it is written: 2GB 2Rx8 pc2, 2GB 240 - PIN DDR2 DIMM PC2.
can i plug it in one of the other slots on my pc now?
DDR2 memory runs at a different voltage, has a different amount of contact pins, and the slot is cut in a different place than DDR3 memory, making it impossible for DDR2 memory to fit in the slot.
