I would like to upgrade my hp Compaq pro 6000 sff to its max gaming potential. What is the best-supported graphics card and CPU I could use? If I need to upgrade my power supply as well to support the new power, what can I get as well? I have 8GB of ram at the moment from an extra stick i had laying around so should I get 4GB x 4 to get the max 16GB of ram supported? or get an 8GB stick and put it into the last open slot? I want to play Roblox at med settings without much lag, preferably 40-60 fps. Thankyou

Welcome to our HP User Forum!
Please take a look here amongst fellow HP Compaq 6000 Pro SFF Users: https://www.userbenchmark.com/System/HP-Compaq-6000-Pro-SFF-PC/1725.
The fastest processor would likely be the Core2 Quad Q9650. You can get these very inexpensively via eBay (starting at $39): https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=Q9650&_sacat=0&LH_TitleDesc=0&LH_BIN=1&_sop=15&LH_Pre....
You can fit up to 2 x 8GB DDR3 PC3-12800, 1600 MHz, Non-ECC, UDIMM, 240-pin RAM. I would definitely use 2 x 8GB 1600 MHz RAM in order to take advantage of the dual-channel memory mode.
According to: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c01883661.pdf, you have a 240 watt power supply. Not very good at all to power any meaningful gaming graphics card. What you need is a 24-pin to 6-pin ATX power adapter cable, such as this one: https://www.amazon.com/COMeap-Power-Adapter-Workstation-12-inch/dp/B06XW7RWNH/ref=sr_1_3?crid=27CLUS..., which will allow you to use an industry standard ATX power supply to power your desktop + graphics card. Depending on the size of the ATX power supply, you may have to park it outside your chassis if it doesn't fit inside your case.
As far as a graphics card is concerned, size is the only issue. The aforementioned UserBenchMark link shows 6000 Pro SFF Users using the (mini) GTX 1080, GTX 1070, and GTX 1650 graphics cards.
You can also park an outsized GPU outside your case like I did with my HP 6300 Pro SFF legacy upgrade project: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Desktop-Hardware-and-Upgrade-Questions/Upgrading-HP-Compaq-Pro-6300-SF..., which worked out pretty well: https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/52160059.
Hope this was helpful.
