i'm having trouble finding an affordable website selling the appropriate 500W power supply unit. i've tried ebay because it's the site i trust. some help would be great. my computer is the hp pavilion 3000i

Do a search by the PSU part number:
The part is used in hundreds of different model HP desktop PC's, so whatever PC models are being referenced in the listing is immaterial as long as the part number is L05757-800.
