I love my HP ENVY Desktop - 750-124 (it's working beautifully!) but want to be able to run Windows 11 when it comes out. I have an HP 2B47 motherboard with an Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700 CPU @ 3.40GHz, 3408 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor. This CPU is not listed by Microsoft as one that can run Windows 11. Other than buying a whole new computer (and everything that that entails!), can I upgrade my CPU to handle Windows 11? Any advice would be greatly appreciated; Thank You!

Unfortunately, there aren't any hardware upgrades you can do to have your PC meet Microsoft's minimum hardware requirements to run W11.
If you are interested in installing W11 on your PC as is, watch this video:
How to install Windows 11 24H2 on Unsupported PC (Early Access) 2024 (youtube.com)
Download the W23H2 ISO file and use that (3rd option).
Download Windows 11 (microsoft.com)
24H2 isn't out yet and if you don't have a W11 PC, you can't get the new version yet.
I'm running W11 24H2 on a HP 800 G3 Desktop Mini PC with an i5-6500T and it works just fine.
