looking for an upgrade for the video card on hp pavilion slimline 400-34, so it has to be low profile , have recently been playing world of warships and the integrated video won't keep up with the requirements of the game

Hi
not this one ?
https://support.hp.com/gb-en/document/c03791266
you are quite limited, power supply not very powerful
see which graphics card is recommended but there you can only install a small model
Either try a low-power card, cheap, second-hand
either in my opinion think about changing computer ..
the general configuration of this model is very insufficient for many games

well actually i was thinking about a total upgrade, video card, cpu, and power supply, because i can do all this for about 200.00 and looking at specs of computers that i can find for entry level gaming a replacement is going to start at 7-8 hundred dollars!, if i cut corners in the right places i can even go a little cheaper, used card, used power supply, i'll admit i don't really like the idea of a used cpu.
any thoughts?
thanks for your ideas too!

The upgrade possibilities of this model are very limited
You won't get much performance
It would be better to start all over again
If you, do not stay in manufacturer models (HP, asus etc.)
I advise you to direct yourself to pre-assembled configurations, or to configure yourself
You can start small, and upgrade gradually, more memory, better video card etc..
your box/ tower here is too small !
