video card

I don't like the fact that I got one hdmi port and one analog port for video. I have two monitors and one does not have either. I added a video card with two hdmi ports. But it broke the video when I added a new mic. so I went back to the original built in video hardware and now everything works. Is it safe to buy a new video card with the 2 hdmi ports without breaking the video?

What video card did you buy, was it new?
Your Mic (for microphone) Also what type, model?
I don't see what can lead to the failure of a video card, if we have simply connected a microphone...
So to start so new, I advise you to have it exchanged!

The labels are full of numbers. How am I supposed to know which one is the model? If I leave this page to find more about it, my reply disappears. If I dial the Call Me phone number it disconnects. If I try to contact an agent I just get a robot that has no idea what I'm talking about. I called the "service Center" and they have no idea how to fix the problem. the Vga to Dvi cable does not work.

Thank you. Your are correct about the model number. Thanks for the answer about ports. I don't understand why the motherboard has a pcie port if I can't use it. Through messenger I found out the combo cable will not work. I don't know why it's been so painful to get this long awaited help. Thank you. I have a vga to vga cable coming today.

If you have a pci port it should work, and since you already installed a graphics card, it worked!
Without more information it is difficult to answer.
