hello we have
HP Pavilion 590-p0069 Serial number: 8CG83xxxxx Product number: 3LA95AAR (Windows 11 reports it as P0109 AMD) windows 11 reports CPU as AMD A10-9700 R7 10 Compute cores 4c+6g 3.50 Ghz) AND windows 11 reports that ALL is this box IS comparable with windows 11 EXCEPT the CPU. We are looking for a list of Socket Am4 CPUs that will run on this mother board AND pass the windows 11 compatibility tests. we have been looking for days and find nothing but confusion. Please point us to such a list. thanks

thanks so much for the FAST REPLY and info. Q: where does a person find such info? we have a few other systems that are in need of being upgraded to run windows 11 (if possible) that we will be working on over the next few months. we had tried to find a special CPU only type website that would have tons of compatibility info, but after over a week we could not find a site that covered the 942024-001 US for the HP. if you are not adverse to providing your source.. please do. it will be a major help in the future. THANKS EVER SO MUCH for your help! DB

You are welcome!
There is no specific single online link that I could give you, I work from previous assist-experience aka 'institutional know-how' with computer systems like yours. Every (HP) PC platform is different and requires looking/researching in different places.
