Hi have a 8200 elite sff pc getting a 2gb video card but want to know what the maximum video memory i can have in the pc.so what is the max video memory size the 8200 sff will take.

 

any help would be appreciated on this.

in practical terms, there is no real limit other than the physical space on a video card to hold the memory chips

 

and since you have a 8200 sff that requires a half Hight video card WITHOUT any external "GPU" connectors your choices for this system are limited

 

any video card that is low profile/half Hight and uses less than 70 watts will work

 

hp has several models that they tested and listed as available for this model, however many more are also compatible as long as the size and drawn wattage is within the specs listed above

The very best low-profile low-power graphics card for a 240-watt power supply is listed by multiple sources (Google it) is the MSI GTX 1050 Ti 4GB LP.
