HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop PC TG01-2000i
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

HI,

I used my old desktop SSD, 500Gig, when I got this desktop for ease of transfer,

Now this drive, only 50% used, just goes 100% all the time, no ideal.

I wanted to know what drives the board supports, M2 / NVME type drives.

Only like to open it up when it is required.

Thanks

Art.

Hi @Art_Mac

Welcome to the HP Forum.

Your MB should have one M.2 2280 512 GB NVME drive now.

You can replace this drive with a 1 TB or larger NVME drive.

You will probably want to clone or image the existing, smaller, OS drive to the new and larger NVME drive. A NVME to USB 3 adapter would work since the MB is limited to one M.2 slot for storage devices.

Back up data before doing anything which could compromise data on the existing SSD.
