I want to add gpu (probably old and low watt) to this pc for some light gaming. Most demanding will probably be it takes two. I wanna know what's the minimum graphic card and what PSU can be used to power that gpu only with pcie since i doubt any proprietary gpu will have 6 pin

@qwerty126,

According to the specs, your HP Desktop - M01-D0204d (140A2AA) as fitted with an Erica2 motherboard (SSID: 8643), is powered by a 180-watt power supply (p/n: L08660-800).

In order to play "It Takes Two", the minimum graphics card listed is a GTX 660, which has a 140-watt TDP and requires at least a 300-watt power supply.  This card isn't necessarily the least expensive you can buy, so I would recommend a GTX 1050 or a GTX 1630 which have 75-watt TDPs and require at least a 250-watt power supply.

There are power supply upgrades available for your PC: a 310-watt power supply (p/n: L10875-800) and a 400-watt power supply (p/n: L04618-800).

The following graphics cards may work on your 180-watt power supply, but based on User's feedback, it is a hit-and-miss as some Users reports it will work, while other Users say it doesn't: RX 550 or AMD Radeon Pro WX 4100 (both 50-watt TDP), or the RX 6400 (53-watt TDP).

Hope this was helpful.

Kind Regards,

Omg thank you so much, i saw you replied a lot regarding upgrade question and i wander how do you find out what component is suitable for my motherboard and what component does not. i've tried part surfer but that page can't even load. Also is L05757-800 (500w) compatible with my computer? It is priced around the same with 400w psu you suggest

@qwerty126,

Thank you!  I've had quite a bit of experience upgrading HP desktops and knowing where to look for relevant information.

Yes, the L05757-800 (500-watt) power supply is indeed compatible with your PC.
