Welcome to our HP community forum!
Well, the fact that there are some upgrade options for your AIO doesn't necessarily mean you should do it. Meaning, upgrading AIOs is a pain -in a nutshell: a lot of work to get where you need to be, risking breaking your system in the process, and compared to upgrading regular desktops (Tower, Small Form Factor models, etc.) upgrading AIOs is expensive with relatively little gains. Please note that you will be severely limited in what you can upgrade. For example, most AIOs don't have any graphics card ports in order to hook up a discrete graphics card (nor is there space inside your AIO) to boost graphics performance.
Having said this, here are some upgrade ideas for an HP all in one desktop 24-cb1xxx.
Processor: You probably knew that whatever "xxx" model you got, the processor is integrated with the motherboard, meaning, you can't swap processors. If you want a better processor -and there are, you'll have to clean out your piggy bank and borrow from your sister.
For example, assuming you got an Intel processor motherboard, here is exhibit A: the HP "Don" Motherboard (SSID: 89E8) with p/n: N01290-603 which is fitted with the Intel i7-1255U (3.50 GHz up to 4.70 GHz, 10-Cores, 12-Threads) which comes with the decent Intel Iris Xe integrated graphics.
You can purchase this motherboard online, such as via this eBay Seller for $250: https://www.ebay.com/itm/126638625885?_trkparms=amclksrc%3DITM%26aid%3D1110006%26algo%3DHOMESPLICE.S....
RAM: According to Crucial, your AIO could be fitted with up to 2x32GB of DDR4 PC4-25600, 3200 MHz, Non-ECC, SODIMM, 260-pin RAM sticks, but you almost certainly don't need/want that much RAM anyway. If you got one 8GB RAM stick, buy a matching 8GB RAM stick for best RAM performance.
Power Supply: You probably got a 65-watt power supply. If you go ahead with upgrading your AIO, you'll need to upgrade your power supply with a 90-watt unit, which has p/n: L40098-001 ("90W AC ADPTR PFC SMART 3P"). You can purchase one online, such as via this eBay Seller for $10: https://www.ebay.com/itm/166962827417?_skw=L40098-001&itmmeta=01J7Z6SKRWJ61ER6G38433390M&hash=item26.... Providing a little bit more power to any PC system is always helpful anyway.
If you were thinking to do some gaming, you would be better off looking at, say, an HP EliteDesk 800 G3/G4 SFF or MT, which are plentiful on eBay offered at very reasonable pricings to pursue an (affordable) upgrade project.
Kind Regards,
