where do I buy and which cpu fan do I need

Puter boots up saying no cpu fan detected. Press F1 . So it boots but I think I need a cpu fan?

It appears that you have to order the heat sink as well as the fan.

No doubt you can remove the old fan and put the new one from the new heat sink in its place.

HP does not sell the part...

Google the part number and you can probably find one on eBay or amazon.

Thanks so much for the timely reply. I opened the case and blew it all out and now the fan is working and it boots normally, but I will save the info you gave me if it acts up again!
