I bought an AMD Ryzen 5 5600G 6-Core 12-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor to upgrade my HP Pavilion 590-p0024 Desktop PC. I didn't update my BIOS, and I somehow managed to disable my old CPU in the process, so i cant even throw that back in the do so. I have upgraded my PSU to the "platinum" 400w as well, and added more RAM, SSD, and GPU. Based on this site https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-pavilion-590-p0000-desktop-pc-series/19390500/model/21761846... it doesn't show the AMD Ryzen 5 5600G 6-Core 12-Thread as an option. Now my PC will power on and off continuously, without showing anything on the monitor. Also the cooler for the Ryzen 5 doesn't match the bolt pattern for my motherboard. What should I do? Thanks in advance

The top processor upgrade listed for your system is the Ryzen7-2700
For anyone wanting to try a processor that is NOT listed as supported one should go here
https://www.cpu-upgrade.com/CPUs/AMD/Ryzen_7/2700.html
and see what other users have tried to upgrade FROM the 2700.
The 5-5600 is not listed.
See if you can return the 5600 and pick one of the following
