The maximum dimensions of a compatible PSU ( L 152.4mm/W 139.7/H98.425mm) are detailed in the video. for the Omen 25l/30L.
The Corsair RM1000x (2021) is an ATX format, so yes, it will fit in the 25L case.

It won't fry your motherboard components.
A PSU will only provide the power that the components in the PC require.
That is the reason that there are voltage regulation circuits on a PC's motherboard.
