wireless mouse connectivity issue

HP Recommended
HP Envy Curved all in one PC 34
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Have an HP Envy Curved all in one.  All of a sudden the wireless (battery powered) mouse stopped working.  I turned the switch on and off, and the little white light just turns off.  I replaced the batteries, and same thing, the little white light comes on, then shuts off after a couple of seconds.  Tried three more sets of batteries, same thing.  Tried updating drivers, no difference.    Any assistance?

Have you verified the mouse is linked.  Go to Settings and then Devices.
