Product: z840
I need some help getting to the bottom of a question I have regarding "alleged" changes to the z840 motherboard and BIOS Boot Block Date that occurred in 2016. It is my understanding that in 2016 HP switch from Haswell (V3) to Broadwell (V4) for the z840 AND that the AS # changed from 710327-001 to 710327-002 on the Motherboard and BIOS BBD to accommodate the change to Broadwell. In addition, it appears that TPM v2.0 is included with the 710327-002 release. I am not a hardware guy and know enough to be dangerous. But I do enjoy learning about hardware. Any guidance would be appreciated.
Kind Regards.
