My desktop all in one is about 4 years old. No longer under warranty but has worked just fine up until this morning. As you can see from the subject line, I tried to turn it on and got the 3 long beeps followed by 4 short beeps. Finally found a post someplace about letting it run through 5 sets and the desktop would restart...which it did not. Found another post about unplugging the adapter, which did work. Given that it is impossible to contact the Geek Squad or anyone else right now, is there something that I should do to correct this long term? Purchase whole new adapter? Serious warning that the computer is about to bite the dust?

I know this link is for laptops, but All-in-Ones are basically HUGE laptops with external keyboards and mice.
This link shows that code as a power adapter issue: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01732674?jumpid=reg_r1002_usen_c-001_title_r0001
So, replacing that SHOULD fix the issue -- but there are no guarantees.
