Crash 1.jpgCrash 2.jpgCrash 3.jpg

Hi !

When i'm playing video games, my pc sometimes crash and give me this error. I don't know what it keeps doing that. My drivers and my bios is good in updating

I have 2 graphic cards in my PC :

AMD Radeon RX 7600 8gb from Gigabyte (on slot 2)

Nvidia Quadro K420

I have 2 GPU bc for unknown reason, when i only have the AMD one, my PC pratically instant crash and give me this error when launching a game. With the Nvidia one in, it is more stable but still have some random crash.

Hi @ElysioSan

That error is usually caused by the card not being properly inserted into the slot or not having sufficient power.

Try removing the card from slot 2 and reinserting it.

Unfortunately, I've already tried this several times without success 🥲. Slot 2 is the only slot my card fits in, so it's impossible to test it on other PCIe ports.

Unfortunately, I think the slot or the card is damaged or not getting enough power. What kind of PC do you have, and what is the PSU's wattage? Try removing some RAM modules, use just one monitor, remove any hard drives you're not using, and give it a try.

I have a HP workstation z440 , I don't know if its the same component as the base PC since I buy it on ebay but I think its the same (from a trustworthy guy). I think my PSU is a 700W.  I only have one monitor and one HDD (+ 1 SDD)

I don't have any other advice to give you; the service manual indicates that this is due to a problem with the slot or the graphics card.

See page 96 of the manual.

Okayyy!

Thanks for your help! Just one thing, do you have a way to check if the problem comes from the GPU or the motherboard?

HP Recommended

It's hard to tell without tools that can check the motherboard or graphics card. You should try the graphics card in another computer.

I will try this ! Thank you so much for your help !
