Microsoft Windows 11

A document in my desktop folder was moved or deleted and now I don't know how to recover it. I was creating a folder inside another one, and I put documents there, then I hit control z to go back and now the new folder and the documents were deleted, I have looked in others and in the trash and it is still not there. I have a HP Laptop 14-dk1

CTRL-Z sent the documents back where they originally were.

You will have to search for them.

Use the file manager and search in documents for one of the files using a wildcard and any part of the document name you can remember.

if it does not show up in documents then try your username folder

Browse to c:\users\YourAccount

and search from there using the file manager.
